There are certain movies that without them, Christmas just isn't the same. At least for me. So I've made a list of my must-watch movies for the holiday season!
1. The Year Without A Santa Claus- I figure I'd start off with my favorite. I love everything about this movie, from the wonderful, fun-loving songs to the claymation. I remember watching this movie every year with my parents and little sister and I never outgrew it. It's a sentimental part of my Christmas. And of course, who doesn't love the Snow Miser and Heat Miser?
2. Santa Claus is Coming to Town!- Yet another claymation movie that I love. It's not my favorite but it's definitely a very close second! I love all of the crazy names that they have for the characters like Winter Warlock and Burgermeister Meisterburger. This is another movie that I used to watch with my family and holds a special place in my heart.
3. Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer- I'm actually watching it while I'm typing this. Of course, it's a classic and who doesn't love the story of everyone's favorite reindeer?
4. Frosty the Snowman- Frosty is just the most lovable character and when he says, "Happy birthday!" as they put the hat on his head, I can't help but smile!
5. Elf- No explanation needed. :)
6. The Muppet Christmas Carol- I love Michael Caine and I love The Muppets, so therefore, this movie is, by definition, perfect.
7. Mickey's Christmas Carol- I'm a very loyal Disney fan and watch this multiple times in December. It's a short movie and manages to warm my heart every time I watch it. I mean who doesn't love Mickey Mouse and Scrooge McDuck?
8. Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas and Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas- (I grouped these two together since they are basically the same concept.) These movies tell short Christmas-related stories about all of the beloved Disney characters and has adorable songs and skits to go along with them. What can I say? I love Disney magic around the holidays!
What are your must-watch Christmas movies?
